Screamer pipe melted rad hose :(

anybody else had this happen to them?

im running a zisco td04 external wastegate setup and the rad hose was always very close to the screamer and i had the rad hose covererd in heat wrap to stop it from melting but it must have had enough today and melted causing me to loose water but luckily i was 2 mins from home its a civic rad too BTW

anybody have a better solution to stop this from happening again?

Modify the screamer pipe so its not so close to the rad pipe, problem solved.

Is it a wepr ex gated kit ?

I am in the middle of sorting mines atm pm me ur number and ill show you how ive done it tmoz if you want bearing in mind its jst a temp measure mate lucckily i clocked it in time...apparently you can move the screamer about i spoke to wepr so ill give that a bash tmoz and let you know how i got on mate

move the bottom port on the radiator so it sits roughly in the stock position

Move the bottom port on the rad, why put a nice radiator in if your going to keep a major heat source close to the rad pipe??? Mind boggling tbh.

Remember if a jobs worth doing its worth doing right.
Modifying the screamer pipe isnt the way to do it either.

i cut the pipe off the rad and moved it to the standard position

I had same problem, gettin bottom port on rad moved over to the otr side of the rad well away from the heat of screamer pipe,,
