Shroud for civic rad: Pros/cons?

I have done a lot of conversions with just the fan.
But some of those fans are a bit on the Chinese side of life.
You must get the watt rating before buying.

I would just use a fan, that shroud is preventing air being forced through the rad core, when driving its limiting air flow to the area of the fan only.

i would advise against that particular fan shroud simply because of the fact that it has box-edges and does not seem to favor air flow. if you can't fit the oem fan+shroud then don't use this one imo..
