Speedvision oil filter relocation kit

Evening guys.

Just looking for some advise on the oil filter relocation kits. I bought years and years ago a relocation kit. But once I got round to fitting it I found that the FMIC inter cooler pipe goes right in front of where the inlet and outlet pipes go onto the plate which screws to where the oil filter would normally go. But looking around the forum etc it looks like most kits have a separate cooler, is this needed. Or can I relocate the filter without an external cooler? (once I buy a different fmic without annoying pipework)

I think he means something like this for the oil filter only but with Starlet fitment http://www.buyautotruckaccessories.com/product.cfm/cf-bin/pn.derale-oil-filter-relocation-kits/
There are none of thiese currently on the speedvision site.
