Lad over on uksc is selling pauter's for £450 I think. Although I'm not sure I would trust him, he's had a lot of parts up on ebay that he kept relisting. Never heard of these rods myself, but going by the specs they don't seem bad. Although the saying "you get what you pay for" springs to mind.
there ok, always get them double checked by the engineer.
there are machined out of forged billet, they are not forged into shape, (rods that are forged into shape are very expensive and dont exist for starlets)
I'm thinking of going with a set of custom carillo rods for my 5e build. I'll have to see what my engine builder says about it. Failing that probably pauters I would say are the best off the shelf rods.
