stem seals (toyota)

Which way round do the oem stem seals go?

brown/grey rubber with bronze metal in a bag with red tape.
black rubber with silver metal loose in the gasket kit.

I hav'nt got the old set to compare.

please only state if your sure.

Any I've seen fitted in the past have had the brown on the intake side mate. From what I remember there is a very slight difference between the two types but the actual specifics escape me (memory is definitely getting worse!)

Thanks you've just confirmed what 2 other people have said , I think the black rubber for the exhaust valves can with stand higher temperatures.
