I swapped the the two pipes around under the bonnet mate.

Iv tried with different leads but didnt make a difference.I also put the restriction back on and it didn't miss at all then.Iv also took the ecu out for 30 minutes and put it back on and let it idle for 30 minutes and then drove easy for about 30 minutes then slowly starting fully boosting the car and it was fine but it's started doing it again

The stock ecu should run with the solenoid bypass could u post a pic of the bypass and where u take the boost pressure reading

I'll do that tomorrow, and when I bypassed it last time with the stock ecu I was hitting fuel cut because it was boost creeping like mad even creeped upto 1 bar.the thing i don't understand is when I put the 1st gear restriction on with the blitz ecu it doesn't miss.also can someone please tell me what happens if the timing is out.thanks guys all your help is much appreciated

Repd for your help guys a few people left to rep but Iv exceeded my limit for today

is it not possible that u are hitting fuel cut with the ecu im sure sum1 posted other day that not all the blitz access ecu's were fitted with the removal of fuel cut could this be a possible cause

What do you think? Could he be experiencing boost surge ( as the problem is happening at 5000 rpm he will be pushing quiet a bit of exhaust especially if the Blitz ecu is adding fueling.) I have had boost surge stalling the engine then recovering as he described when I freed up the filter.

Blitz ecu removes the fuel cut for boost and speed limiter. I think you should forget about using the high/low solenoid altogether, just make sure the high/low switch is in the high position and take the solenoid out of use. Be sure to plumb the actuator correctly when you do it.

Also double check the map sensor is still connected to the inlet mani correctly.

How would I take it out use?I'll be getting a ebc soon and also should be getting a decat, manifold and fmic in a month or so

you either havnt bridged the connections properly or the engine management light bulb is missing or blown. if its anything like my car the goon removed it as he was trying to hide a problem.

The em light was on but it just didn't flash.I used a piece of wire to bridge the connections is there something that I have to get to bridge the connection or will any wire do?

i use a paperclip as it works best, but any bit of wire will work if you can get it to fit in the little connectors. if it just stayed on then chances are you didnt bridge it correctly.

Ok mate will try again.but when I put the wire in the abs light flashed and the airbag light flashed aswell so I mustv made some kind of connection
