Your my new best friend!

Where in Co. Down are u? Would u wanna do it at yours or down my way? I've no garage but could maybe ask around and get us somewhere under a roof to work if needed.

Do you think its realistically possible to remove the box, open it fit a diff and refit the box in one day?

I'd have concerns about my clutch, I've no clue wots in there bit its not slipping at 248bhp but the extra grip may put it over its limits, I have a paddle clutch here too but thats maybe asking too much.

I'd obviously pay u for your time!

Im based between crossgar and saintfield. It would prob be handier doing it at mine.
It would be a full days work but its not impossible.
Its as handy to fit the clutch when you have the box out as it wouldnt take much longer.
Now for the concerns, from speaking to dad he was saying its not uncommon for lsd's in general to have "thinner" bearings. is your diff new or used? does it have bearings?
also as with any job you run the risk of unexpected problems which may not be rectified quickly, so: do you wait til monday to order the required parts or build it up again as is - which sometimes may not always be possible i.e. leaving you without wheels for a few days :(
so if all goes to plan you would be sorted for bishopscourt...but nothing usually goes to plan!lol.
just something for you to think about

It's a brand new Quaife lsd, doesn't come with bearings so can only assume it used the standard box bearings.

I reckon we could have a crack at it, not running bishops court without it so no big deal if we encounter probs, I have a second car so I won't be stuck, well apart from maybe a lift home lol!

PM me ur address and a time u want me there for.

it would prob be better if you could find out for sure if it uses the standard bearings before we go in all spaners blazing!lol
