suspension problems...ride height messed up....input needed

recently i ordered a set of tein spring for my ep91 starlet, what i recieved was a set of teins for a ep82 starlet.
after deciding to fit these springs to my car the front end of the car is alot higher than the back, there's about a 40mm difference in height between the front and rear arches.
what i need to kno is has this happened to anyone before and what could be causing this to happen?
also are there any ways to fixing it other than buying more springs

as far as im aware there is no difference in suspension on the ep82-ep91.

either send them back and get the proper size, or just chop the front springs down a bit

not trying to be a tool or out but have you put the springs the right way round, like front ones on the front and rear ones on the rear?

only ask because i have done it before, luckilly realised before i bolted the strut back on though, phew!!!

no man i did put them in in the right place, isnt there a difference in the springs anyway.
also i was wondering would not having the suspensions settings ie tracking and all the geometry checked have any affect on the ride height, i don't believed that it would have this much affect but im curious?
