hi, i was wondering if a t25 turbo off a 200sx nissan will run on my ep82? i have the turbo and manifold, and the piping up of it will be straight forward, but its the management side of things am wondering about. can i get away with running a fuel regulator, bigger pump, bigger injectors, fcd on standard management, running at 1bar? if not, what is the cheapest ecu upgrade to put on it?

great turbo. if you can get a smaller exhaust housing for it as it will be lagy
first and most important mod to me is full stand alone management, but you guys pay a arm and a leg for it that side

i have one on mine only running with 0.5 bar on standard management. Runs fine no problems. If you want to take it to 1 bar, I would recommend getting greddy emanage £200 upwards and then getting it mapped will cost another couple of hundred.

You could use a fpr and fcd but its less safe and you could risk damaging your engine. mapping will mean better reliability and more power from your mods if done properly aswell

ok, what housing do you suggest (from what other turbo/car)? and would that also mean the "propeller" would need changing? is there a brand that proves cheap and reliable?

ok, so if i were 2 get the standalone management would that mean i dont have to have a fcd? and would i have to still run a fpr?

i couldnt imagine that it would be very laggy as its a bit smaller than a td04.....not a gt25 just an ordinary t25 from the ca18det or from the sr20 det 180sx

the turbo comes stock with a big exhaust housing and bad trim for use on a 1.3
@rwdrev. bud it looks like the GT2554 is the smallest you can get

An sr20 turbo is a t28. The t25 only came on the ca and early sr20 non vvt. But i think they are Abit laggy for a 4e and Dont make great power and by the time it's fitted you could have probably bought a td04 kit :)

I ran a t25 on a 4e a while ago and made 268bhp at 1.4bar of boost, its very similar to a td04 in terms of lag and power. I was running a .64ar exhaust housing. The pulsars run a t28 stock with a .86ar exhaust housing with a larger compressor wheel, there very laggy on a 4e but make more power than the t25.

sorry, been away a few days. i dont know the car its from cos i bought it new 4 another project but deceided against it, but its a t25 from a 2oosx. from what a couple of people say it isnt far off from a td04, so i will try it out and see what happens if its better then great, if not then i will go the td04 way.
