Tryin to do some research for my project. How would a T3 turbo work on a standard gt turbo engine?

First, you would need to get a T3 with these specs:
T3 50 Trim-Stage 2
Turbine wheel Exducer diameter 49.53mm
Turbine wheel Mayor diameter 63.75mm
Compressor wheel Exducer diameter 42.42mm
Compressor wheel Mayor diameter 59.94mm
Turbine Housing A/R .36
Compressor Housing A/R .42
Supporting mods: 440cc injectors/RRFR & at least the eManage Blue/minimum of 2.5inch downpipe and exhaust system.
With proper tuning and race fuel 240+ WHP is possible.

So would this b a t3 i have to put together myself or is there a T3 that already contain these parts?

the 0.36 a/r seems the work favorably from the members who have run T3 on here and other sites.....
honestly,,,,these T3 spec turbos were the craze back in the day........i think the US guys still play around with them on the 4e/5e set-ups..as artmull said...and can net some good figures
however, i will also add that a lot of guys have now moved towards....the td series, GT series (ball bearing), greddy series, etc newer designed turbos...
but the above spec turbo should run well---------IF u can get it....lol

I think the T3 off the old Escort RS turbos has an A/R of .42 or something so you if you keep looking on ebay may find one for a decent price .. . .
You guys have the luxury of 95 or 98 RON pump gas. We are lucky if we can get a good quality 93 RON at the pump.
You can get a brand new Master Power T3 turbo with these specs.

Well by time i get ready to do my project the choice will probally come down to a nice T3 or a GT25r
There is a T3 with the exact same specs with the only difference being a
.48 A/R exhaust housing. This turbo made 311WHP on a built 5E, with 5EFHE cams, port and polished head, larger throttle body and eManage Blue, aluminium flywheel.
