The stock tach in my 91 starlet has all of sudden started showing me doing 3k revs when it should be more like 5k. The car seems to be revving fine and I can only assume the problem lies with the gauge. Any suggestions with how to remedy it? Thanks!
Remove the cluster and check the back where the connections are and the pcb on the back of it. It could be a broken track or a screw that transfers power from the tracks through to the gauge thats bad.
