right so I've went tdo4 on a budget and want to know if I need anything else,

spec:
standard ecu
mild steel ramhorn manifold
td04l turbo
2 1/2 decat
2 1/2 blitz stainless steel exhaust
civic alloy radiator
mbc
sard rrfpr
fmic
relocated filter
will only be running 0.7 bar so no need for fcd.

so if I get the rrfpr set up on the rolling road will the car be ok to drive? will be getting an e-manage later down the road once I can afford it

car also got timing belt kit, spark plugs, engine oil, oil filter, fuel filter and gearbox oil.

glanzatd04l You may also need some bigger injectors when you get your EM, Your stock injectors will be fine with the setup you've mentioned . And you may also need an AFR GUAGE with your setup.

Yes your car will be ok to drive when the rrfpr set up on the rolling road.

Hi I would be thinking of doing a similar set up some time, I already have some of that stuff but im just wondering that you say its on a budget how much would all that cost roughly,

You will need a braided oil feed line as the pressure is too much for a normal pipe.

You can adjust your boost using the TD04 actuator if you will only be running one boost pressure.

You shouldn't need injectors at .7 bar. I was sitting at 80% duty cycle at 1bar of boost on oem injectors and no FPR, I did need them at that boost.

You can get an AFR gauge for your peace of mind but its not needed . Your tuner will check them when adjusting the FPR. Dont get me wrong an AFR gauge would be nice to keep an eye on things but if your on a budget you can skip it.

If you go further than .7 you'll want to look into a clutch. I shattered one and wrung another stock one.

yes I got a stainless steel braided oil line made up for £10, i'm using the hks actuator that was on my ct9 setup will this be ok?

you mentioned a afr gauge, I know its a air fuel ratio gauge to see if your running rich or lean, but how much would it cost and how is it fitted?
will I be ok with standard clutch at 0.7 bar?

it only cost me £300 cause I made my own manifold got turbo for free and carried out all the work myself.

I got mine td04'd for about £1100 that included a power fc, bigger injectors and an afr gauge.

£300 isn't bad going. Td04 at 0.8bar is no slouch

Sorry,missed this thread.

Clutch holding up depends on how much is left on it. At .7 you'll be running 160+ ft lbs of torque so a knackered one could well slip. A fresh one could be alright,I've seen people running bigger power on them but it wil slip eventually. The exedy 3 paddle is what most people recommend but I went for the 4 paddle CAP clutch, glad I did as it launched really well with it when I was running 200 ft lbs of torque
