temp gauge issues,

My water temp drops as the rpm rises when im driving this happens on and off boost,
any ideas?

yes it does,
it only happens as the rews begin to increase whilst driving

Mine was doing this when the thermostat was stuck open,on the motorway it would drop to the bottom

I dont think its the thermo as it was only replaced 3 months ago.

sounds more like an electrical fault with the gauge to me.. :|

As said above driving with low revs at speed will cool the radiator water.
If the temp drops with high revs also I guess a small blockage of some sort possibly radiator which clears when the higher water pump flow gets the radiator working?
Check your radiator fluid colour consider whether its worth flushing the system and see if this helps?

Classic thermostat symptoms.

It wouldn't be the first faulty stat I've seen. I've found that non-genuine stats seem to misbehave far more often than genuine Toyota ones. Well worth checking before you start delving deeper.
