TERCEL1: I had every intention....

...after yesterday's runs at MIR (see HERE), I decided to go to the track today
(Capitol Raceway) to, methodically, try and figure out what was causing the slight hesitations
yesterday...

By the way, in the "Grasping At Straws" department... on the drive home last night I readjusted
my shift light to come on at around 6700 RPM.. I have no idea why...

... anyway, upon arrival at the track today, I had every intention on making runs without my
usual wide open throttle power shifts to see if TERCEL1 still hesitated under less then
"war time" conditions.... My first run went, well... no hesitation so, on my second pass
(10 minutes later), I pushed it a little harder... so for yourself how THAT turned out...

From than on, "methodically" went out the window as I tried to get at LEAST one more run in the
13s but, it was not to be.... I made 3 more passes and the hesitation returned... I could simply
tear my hair out but, I have so little left to tear (HaHaHa)

One of the downsides of running under 14 seconds... I now, have to wear a helmet (and they are
very uncomfortable... a small price to pay, I guess, for speed)

Wish I could figure out the cause of the damned hesitation... anyone?

Thanks... and, by the way, had the car weighed at MIR yesterday and it tipped
the scales at 1785 lbs or 810 kg

Nice one mate!

It seems the weight is NOT against you, 810kg is really light considering the length of the car!
