Apparently the lad with the green colt had a cam in his car and has footage of me pumping out flames onto his bumper.lol

Yep, I was following you for about 3 or 4 laps in the afternoon, couldn't get past but you had a dragon in the exhaust on the straights :)

Just unloaded the cars as I really couldn't be bothered last night!!! :p

Thanks to Sam for organising the day, after all the problems leading up to the weekend and arriving at 1:30am on the Saturday morning to the hotel (sorry peeps!) it was all worth it :D good to see no big incidents and sensible driving from everyone :)

Nice to put more names to faces too, roll on the next one! :)

Will upload the footage I have on camera shortly...

Well done Sam for organising and everyone else for turning up and making the day a success. Glad to see there were no major incidents and everyone behaved well.

If anyone was wondering, I was the unsociable bastard sat in the in the car most of the day, when not out on track. I was fighting a pretty bad headache since the minute I woke up yesterday and was trying to avoid the wind and sun before it turned into a migraine and ending my day early. Was my own fault for leaving the house with no pain killers or sunglasses. :slap:

But still, I managed 79 laps, the poor little CT9 held 0.7bar of boost all day without creeping, brakes performed well enough although I did have an issue with excessive brake pedal travel in the first session, but I found ignoring it was the best cure. I left with legal tread on the tyres, didn't need to top up any fluids (even though the crankshaft is leaking both sides) and the engine didn't overheat or spit out any coolant.

So all in all, the old bus went pretty well and we all had a great day! :drive:

He can fuck off, he literally only printed something out for me on Thursday night. Not having credit for doing nothing!

HaHa bitch. You still owe me pints

It was a really good day, the track was alot better than it looked on google maps. Even with my standard engine ( with the missfire and brake problems) I still managed to keep up with other cars thanks to the handeling mods.

Cant wait for the next one now.

Well.....
Have just got back..managed to limp 150miles with no clutch until it royally fucked and then had to get towed the last 100 miles :(

Was amazing until the clutch went, brilliant day. Was well impressed with my car out there, overtook every car that was on at the same time as me i think so was all good.
Well done Sam A*

Well we got back late last night so didn't get chance to get online then but just want to say thanks to everyone for coming to the event and hope everyone enjoyed the track experience, was really impressed that everyones cars held up really well and there was some good driving out there.

We didn't turn up until 1.30am on the saturday as i was fitting a spare gearbox to the GT until the late hours which i have to say a big thank you to Mcloed, your a legend mate for letting me use it!

I've got 1 or 2 onboard videos from when i took Jay out and also when i took a friend out in the GT, had abit of a battle with Mike in his Celica GT-Four which was fun, car performed faultless all day.

Hope everyone else had as much fun as we did? and once again great to meet everyone i got to speak to and if i didnt get chance to speak to you please do come and find me next time.

Hope everyone that got prize's will have use for them and if theres anything anyone else needs you know where we are.

I believe mike will have the pictures and videos up shortly for everyone to see.

Last of all i think we all owe same a massive thank you for organising the whole thing, he did a fantastic job and it was a perfect day, and he even organised trophys and got prizes from us for the day, theres not many others that would go that far to organise something so i think we should all thank him for that!

And whens the next one sam....?

Was thinking maybe a timed sprint day in the summer too if people would be interested, actually have it competitive too.

What probs did you have Ian mate?

nothing serious, mainly couldn't get the rocker breather to seal so was chucking oil out, but it was a pain in the arse to spend half hour cleaning the bay up, going for a hot lap and spending another half hour cleaning the bay up again.

also split the turbo feed pipe on the last session too, but had a spare (luckily)
