I've been made redundant

Got a 30 day consultation period now so got to find me a new job asap so I can pay the mortgage!

i was in the same boat as you in december but ive been doing some agency work to pay the bills.

i start my new job on monday :)

Thanks all I really appreciate the support

- I've just finished filling in 1 application form and i'm just going to keep applying for similar jobs elsewhere.

I'm getting paid for 30 days to stay at home and look for new jobs - its not that bad! :haha: (trying to keep laughing or I may cry!!!)

I assume you have payment protection on your mortgage???

If so get and sign on within 15 days of being made redundant or it is void!!! So you may get shafted by the mortgage co too;)

feel for you mate, but might be joining you the end of march when my contract is up for renewal, shitting myself cos best job ive ever had
