The Dreaded service bolt!!!

ok this lil bugger came outa nowhere. is it ok to use a standard bolt or is there a spacific bolt i gota get?
is this a common thing on cams?

ve never heard of one then again ive never disasembled an engine before either...

I think its a 10mm bolt - but you can use anything it just needs to stop the spring unwinding

i just used a lil 10mm bolt was fine

Use one of the timing cover bolts for it.

By the way lads its a 6mm bolt, you use a 10mm spanner on it.
