Blind me, powerful PC mate -) how it's like on 3dMARK06 how many points??? I plan to go for i7 in the future, good CPU's! RAM is not 683 mhz for sure -) has to be more than that for DDR3!

Yeah, 1 year old PC it's like 10 year old car!

You can download it for free and give it a try! I have 16 000 points on my 3 year old PC with 5850 card!
I wouldn't buy Nvidia - AMD now it the leader with the fastest card in the world and less power consumption than Nvidia, also cheaper than Nvidia cards! I used to be a fan of Nvidia, but my last 3 cards were ATI!

i do agree about the ati Vs nvidia scene there is just one wee problem, ati's drivers lol... also the latest 500 series are awesome... a bit of a contradiction really as my board is optimised for ati not nvidia lol... i really like ati cards im just worried about their infamous driver update problems...

wot do u think about them bro?

Thats a nice spec kon, I was going to go the Intel route myself just with the new sandybridge boards and a 2500k i5 CPU but funds went against me :(

LOL at the 683MHz ram,for such a powerful build id look at 1600-1800MHz

I know you didnt ask me but.. i always bought ATI (usally XFX orientated) and can't say I could find a fault, sometimes the drivers are bad but you can always revert, for the price comparison its not too much to ask IMO

Even the €200 cards can run the best games at full on on a single card, crossfire and theres no stopping you lol

They update drivers every month I think! I don't experience driver problems to be honest..... never did in fact! They only problem with drivers I've ever had is installing my sound card in Linux!

These are great video cards, Nvidia is struggling at the moment and it cost way too much for their performance! For the last 2 years ATI has the fastest graphics card in the world! That is my personal opinion of course! The way Nvidia went with their Physx - doesn't help in games at all....

What games do you play by the way??? - some games are optimised for Nvidia, some for ATI, but overall if looking at Value for money the ATI is the best and if looking for the Best graphics card at any costs - ATI is the best again -)))))) Also ATI does consume less WATT -) Therefore less noise! I think the best you can get for the new games is full DirectX 11 support with their tessellation - that would be the future with both GPU and CPU - stream processors - A LOT OF THEM -)

I may get some better pictures, they dont do it justice at all

Use this - http://www.aida64.com/downloads/a64xe
It'll tell you most of the hardware you have.
Generally a better processor and ram will speed it up but they're could be other things holding it back, lots and lots of other things lol

As for overclocking, look up www.overclockers.com and have a read through their articles, they'd be much better explaining it than me.Basically its a bit like mapping a PC to its optimum ,think of GHz as BHP and an overclock will get more GHz

Cleaned up the wires and got a Sapphire 6870.
The next few items on the list have me at a stand still.
Definites are
another Sapphire 6870
New Mobo to support crossfire
New proccessor as the 2 unlocked cores failed,so I'm back to 4.1GHz dual.
New PSU

Problem I have is the mobo+proccessor. Im itching to get the 1100T B.E 6 core but with Bulldozer coming I'm trying my damnedest to hold out and see what its like. If its as good as its meant to be at a decent price i'll go with BD.

And current pics
