found mine to be set ar 0 aswell , however when the car randomly stutters to it goes between 0 and 10 .

mines did that, i asume it struggling abit as its on low idle. Keep wacking the gun's dial and setting it up at 20 could be other reason. now its set up 11-9 ish. keeps goin tad out when i tighten the dizzy back up  now could hear the top end scream/pull higher up the revs.

If driver side is not on, then the pulley should be noticable for me make the marking.
May need to remove coolant/reviour bottle to get good view (2min thing).

Those are old pics, sorry. The marking are on last pulley nearest to cam cover, on each side of the belt you would see little notches on the pulley, just high light with tip/ex (make sure use thick brush, as it may get hard to see if u use less, when its spinning).

What i do is tip x the 10 degree mark on the timing case so you can see it better, then tip x the crank pulley on the grooves/marks. Then put it in diagnostic mode, start it up & point the timing gun at the 10 degree mark (you do this from the top of the engine not underneath basically standing above the power steering pump pointing the light at the timing case & crank pulley) & you will see clearly where the timing is, if its out loosen the bolts on the dizzy & advance & retard by moving it do this slowly thou.

The pic that he posted was on a tutorial done by 'notorious_cat' did for changing the timing belt. It wasnt actually his own pulley, just an indication of where the degree markings were
