You get used to seeing out of them at night and probally take it more easy when reversing
As for theives id say yeh it stops most but at the same time it draws attention to your car because it stands out more :homer:
I like tints personally

i think you have to do them stylishly so it doesnt look right out of place with it all,so a light smoke all round is a good effect i think just gives that slightly more secretivelook about your car.
