is this similar type to cusco, kazz lsd's, what are the pro's & cons to this over an atb diff like a quaife

yes very similar to the Kaaz and Cusco.
Couldnt comment about the pros and cons compared to a quaife though im afraid mate.

these lock much harder than the quaife's, though do need rebuilding sometimes (although i have never known one to need rebuilding, just need to make sure the oil is changed as often as the engine oil, and use proper decent lsd oil), other than that there basicly the same

so would you say this is better for track use, i beleive a 1.5 way only locks on acceleration and not deacceleration as apposed to an atb works all the time, i am intereseted in this but want to make sure i pick the 1 style that wil gain on my car when cornering hard

No thats not true. If it was a 1way diff it would only lock on acceleration. 1.5way will lock on acceleration and lock on overrun but not quite as hard as on acceleration.
2ways lock full on accel and overun but are not really suitable at all for fwd cars.

yeah i get you now so it works all the time just not as tite on the overrun, do you think this would be ideal for what am looking for or would an atb suit me better
