TRD engine mounts, how to tell?

get a mirror and light and take a look at the rubber part of the mount, you can see if they are worn or not..

also the trd mounts may have some trd logos on the rubber bits themselfs so may be worth a look.
I have a set of TRD mounts in front of me...trust me, the only thing that says TRD is the little white sticker on it, take that off and I wouldn't be able to tell what they are.

thanks newguye that wot i thought, as stated i have compared mine with the pics, my mounts dont seem to be worn,

i shall check to see if i have a LSD i'm almost certain i dont (i'm not that lucky).

i cant see that the engine mounts are worn,

the reason im asking is cos i'm thinking of buying one of dave burwashs manis and decats, but dont want to take any chances, cos if i dont have uprated mounts, the warranty will be void.

u both got fucked engine mounts lol :p

I agree, steering wheel shaking at idle is a sign that the front or rear mounts are in need of repair. I had to repair mine when swapping the motor. I used the Cheap urethane-esk repair method of filling them with 3M Window Weld. once dried they are like new and stiffer then ever.

my issue with the TRD mounts is that they're still rubber, so regardless, they'll become saggy eventually. There is a place that does Polyurethane versions but a) they need the mounts on an exchange basis and b) they're in America

If the mounts are fooked, can i just change the rubber on the mounts? or do i have to get new mounts, as i can feel some rocking.
