Tri-Y design Manifold

Hi all,

Im investigating every little detail for my project car that wont be started for ages, but want to know if a Tri-Y design manifold is better the 4-1?

Ive had a little read on them and it does make sense just wonder if any1 has tried it or any experience with it??

Rep'd cheers mate so a 4-1 is def better. just need to find someone to make me a nice one

it's only better if it's been designed well.

according to those links, and loads more on google, the tri-y design is good for road use, and it takes a fair ammount of work to get a 4-1 mani to give as much low down torque and power as the tri-y,

but the 4-1 mani will always have better topend power apparently

Mmmm there gota be away that you can get the tri-y-design to achieve higher topend aswell then your looking at one nice manifold!!! maybe worth some more investigation into this!
