Just shows how greedy the bastards incharge of our country are.all that road tax we pay and still have to put up with fucked up roads.they always find new ways of fleecing us of our hard earned money

Bear in mnd that Japan has a much better economy than us (the world's third biggest), even now. They also have an inferior welfare state which allows them to spend more money on infastructure while those below the poverty line have little chance of escape.

that said, the current twats in charge of the Uk are definitely twats - the fuel tax cut (which will admittedly benefit us the motorists) shows they do have some financial leeway and thus some of the devestating cuts that have been made really weren't necissary. They're a bunch of rich boys who'd rather make the poor pay for the mistakes of their good friends in banking.

Japan has a massive debt!!! The reason they fixed it so quickly is because the people are determined to work hard! Japan has less crime and corruption then any EU country. And the only reason they spend more on the infrastructure is because they don't waste any money on war in Iraq or other countries, don't waste billions on their banks or other companies! If the company goes bankrupt it shouldn't be on the market as per Adam Smith, if the government spend billions to keep banks/companies alive - then it's called Socialism!

To be honest I admire to Japan Made quality, I'm sure that road would last longer than some of the roads in the UK....
