urgent help with lsd please

got the gearbox today aand im sure it has the lsd ,now the owner told me its a trd one and when i asked but which he told me its with the gears not clutches . My problem is is there a wat to know which witthout opening the box?i held the cv's and tried to turn the shaft it wouldnt turn and when i tur the shaft both cv's turn in thesame direction , help please as i need to know what oil i hve to buy

thanks kon you are a knowledge library so thats good whatever lsd you have ? with clutches or mechanical?

we have used them in both without any problem.

i use it on my trd helical lsd without any problems & keit had used it on his which is a clutch type for a while without any problem
