Very loud CliCking noise when turning right & left HELP URGENT :(

Hi guys



My last issue with the car is that -

I have a LOUD clicking/clunk noise from when turning right & left in full lock

Just to give u an idea Sounds abit like the wheels are scraping on plastic arch liners BUT its not

I know it sounds like cv joints but i've changed the driverside cv joint but still the same noise in full lock both sides

Absolutely puzzles to what it can be

Had the both drive shafts out today & inspected them & thre all fine

What can it possible be ? :-/

Probably the other cvjoint if its not rubbing anywhere. If you jack the car up and turn the wheel on full lock can you make it do it?

I the car has been off road a year now it never did it before i parked it up & stripped engine n shafts out etc

If i jack the car up i dont think it'll do it

But mostly does it on load when full lock gets really loud

Def sounds like CV joints

LSD clicks but if it didnt do it beofre hand sounds like cv joints

Could be the brake dust plates rubbing on the discs if you have been working at the driveshafts.

Hi

Yes the LSD always had the clunk whej turning left

BUT now we have the noise on driverside too & have fitted a new cv joint but still not sorted but still loud but not as loud as before tho

I know the car also needs tracking done too but surely it cant be cos of tracking cos both sides hav a new track rod end fitted

& front brake dust plates/shields have been removed

ONLY does it on full locks & the more i turn the steering full lock the more loud it gets

Confused hate the car :'(

Get the alignment done, after doing all that work, the alignment could be far enough out that when on full lock the wheels are not turning in the same plane.
