very low idle

spoke to toyota and their is no idle control valve. Their words no mine. There is a air control valve.

very odd, ther must be something that controls the idle.

mines does that sometimes... but when i turn on the a/c it shoots rite back up... sometimes too high (1200+)

i think its a idle screw on the throttle butterfly your thinking of sx_turbo (lets the right amount of fuel in, hence mine running like shit) and the air control valve, does what it sounds like. lets air in.

Its all good!!! It was the idle control screw that had worked itself lose. oh and some crap in the throttle body. All fine now.

yer they do that. but its all fine (they took it for a good spin lol) and it was idling ok. got to take it back on monday for them to recheck it. Top garage, good work and good prices (haven't paid anything yet lol)
