So...

Currently running the standard size p20 housing on my VF22 (modified the same way)

But found on eBay mamba were making 304 P18 housings, these are believed to reduce lag on the Subaru by up to 450/500rpm

I believed the OEM flange would too bulky and the void where the wastegate penny is located to be causing turbulence.

I set out removing the OEM flange, blanking and smoothing the internet wastegate further reducing turbulence and volume of the housing.

Also the lambda sensor boss is placed slightly down stream and is 45° to reduce its protrusion into the exhaust

Also having removed the power steering some years ago, I ordered a new crank pulley from 4efe

From memory it was around a 1kg/1.1kg weight saved

She is currently running 1.45bar

Previously it made 350 at 1.5bar on..
Td05, 2.5" system, toyosports intercooler, zisco ram horn, 2.5" intake, standard throttle body and inlet manifold

She now runs 70mm throttle body, customer inlet manifold, customer intercooler, 3" inlet (turbo), 3" turbo back, removed PAS, custom exhaust manifold

oh the good old days of the vf turbos
i once ran a vf35 with p15 exhaust housing, was a very nice daily ride
the p18 on the vf22 should help with improve spool over the p20, but could it affect top end power??
