what sort of bhp would i be putting out with the following mods?:

4 branch mani
5zigen exhaust
decat
trd panel filter
rx7 top mount
hks actuator running 0.8 bar
upgraded plugs and lead.

This is my planned spec list for my glanza for stage one.

want to know if it will get me my first power goal.

thanks keirz.

I'll have very similar mods in a few days time (minus an uprated mani) and i would be very, very happy with 150-160hp without a map. :D

cheers.

well im actually trying to build a handaling oreintated glanza.

firstly im doing the brakes, next week. 3g disks, mintex pads, braided lines and cusco bmcs.

then moving on to the main event, the handaling.

but im also looking to slightly improve power for now. i was looking for about 170 kinda mark. but bhp isnt greatly important as im after response, hence the top mount and sticking to ct9.

in future i want to reach 200bhp (maybe on ct9). thats stage 2. so just wanted to know what sort of power i would have. maybe i could add lightened pulleys too.

dont really want to mess with fueling and ecus just yet. thats part of stage 2. what other mods can be done to increase power and responce without affecting the fueling?

slightly more boost, about 11-12 psi (with an adjustable actuator - HKS for example), full exhaust (turbo back, or cat back with decat) and manifold

induction kit / air filter too

i ment other the the ones i listed in the first post. lol.

i have my actuator set to 0.8-0.85bar at the minute. fitted an open filter and it pushed me to fuel cut. so im about at the limit for boost.

my mod set up is (soon to be)
hybrid ct9 (alla Dave B)
fmic
rr mani/decat
fpr
fcd
hks actuator
walbro pump
1 bar boost.
I'm hoping for the 180bhp mark. Then I'll get to work on my suspension and handling set up.

i reckon your on for around the 150 mark mate. but as many people know, every car responds differently to the same mods, for whatever reason.
But in the long run, if your goin for 200bhp i would highly recommend a ct9 hybrid. It gives you more power but if done right it would have far better response than a standard ct9. My hybrid is 10 times the turbo the standard one was an is soo much faster.
Also its nice to see someone goin for something other than pure performance, i would be very interested in seeing how yours turns out in the end! keep us posted man.

i wouldnt say that my mate nick (jones on here) running standard turbo 0.90bar 187bhp his car is fooking quick! would deffo show some low boost td04's and hybrid ct9's up.
but guessing the bhp of a car is just pointless, just be happy with how it performs. ive seen setups like that get 140bhp and some get 160bhp.

hope all goes well

i will start a progress thread soon so keep an eye out.

im really after all around performance. whats power if you havnt got the foundation mods in place. being my first year with the glanza, huge power mods are off the cards. so im after improving on what ive got.

my main aim is ultimate, motor bike like throttle response and go kart handaling. thats whats fun on road driving for me.

right now Im Running a 2.25" Catback, and an Apexi Filter. With a FCD, the HKS actuator@.8bar and a Decat (speedvision)...would i be around the same numbers ~150-160bhp? What WHP would that be?

Also, the Hybrid CT9 you talk about, what is that composed of? reason i ask is i'd like to keep the stock (or close to) turbo. I like the responce and am not worried about huge power
