What to do next....

Car has been SORN for about 12 months, during this time I thought it was the following gone wrong:

Turbo - so fitted hybrid
Gearbox - so got s/h one
New drop links
Both Drive shafts

I've not driven it more than a few 100 meters on private land to check issue, but the gear change doesnt seem very slick and there is a whirring / occasional knock noise.

Shall I just get my mate who is a mobile mechanic to come around and help, or get my tyres and MOT it? if it fails they can keep it right?

I will have between 1-3k to spend on it at the end of the month so really want it sorted! :D

Carry on replacing random parts?

Call mates husband mobile mechanic?

or risk the MOT?

Help me decide please :D

even if its deemed unsafe to drive they cant keep it can they? I only live 20seconds ride down the road.

Good advice guys, will get mob mechanic around ASAP, I dont want to get too excited as I;ve been here three times befiore :*(
