Whats the advantage of bigger fuel pump

Hi all any ideas about using a bigger fuel pump?

if the fuel pump can deliver a higher flow rate than a standard one then its safer and its obviously better if you mod your car as generally it would use more fuel and the stock pump may struggle to keep the pressure in the rail to allow for this.

basically the standard pump can only flow so much and will struggle if your running a high fuel pressure an uprated pump is always a safe and good idea!

especially if you have a regulator.

The reg will be pushing out fuel more than standard and the fuel pump has to keep up with it....upgrade it to avoid the standard one giving up when it cant handle the strain!

nope, as long as your fuel pressure regulator stays the same it will be fine!

u can use celica or evos one mate.

to be honest most uprated fuel pumps are made by the same manifacturer (Walbro), I used a AE86 uprated one, Works perfect
