Ok guys
Issues is that boost is consistent and normal
There are no boost leak or whatsoever, i have double checked both bov and intercooler tubing but its all fine .
So what can cause my bov to open only halfway to relieve the pressure?

the tightness of the spring. when you are looking at how far it opens is this on a rolling road with a load on the engine or just in neutral? if it is in neutral then i wouldnt expect it to open much with little load on the engine.

If it's a baileys bov throw it in bin and buy decent 1 greddy type s, blitz, hks, etc.... The baileys ones are rubbish mate
Some bov's are adjustable and have a nut on the back or top adjust it mate to suit

I had the same problem with my old baileys dump valve. If you undo the dumpvalve and grease the wall where the spring and piston sits it should be ok at the same time stretch the spring a little bit and it should be ok.

Bov is a group 4 diaphragm dump valve.
Was functioning properly till I had a service and then theres more compressor surge and less purge.
Spring is not adjustable.
