Willwoods? Or Ksport? Brakes

looks like im going be forking out for some decent brakes in the new year, curious what people would have.

ive been told that a 6 pot kit if more than i need as it could caus a judder when braking. (from my local garage) dont know much myself on them.

so i can only assume the willwoods would be better.

just would like some feedback on both kits an peoples experinces with them both. what you have had/have an what you would recomend.

onyl ruunin the tongs hybrid atm, but will be going td04 in 2011 if all goes too plan so think its worth payin out for a bigger setup.

wilwoods be fine mate on a starlet, and they are better maintenece wise then WMS brakes.
not sure on the k-sport maintenece wise in comparison to a wilwood set up, but 4pots be good enough fella.

Ive got the 285 mm wilwoods and omg they are brilliant. Cant imagine you would need to go any bigger. Give me better stopping distances than any of my friends. None of them can belive how good they are...

when you say maintenance, you mean changing pads etc? yea

yea ive heard a few good things about the willwoods, what they like too fit? direct bolt on or does it require any serious work?

I would imagine maintenance is also about how the wilwoods have dust seals and the wms ones don't. If I get 4 pots I would make sure they have dust seals even for just a summer fun car.

Maintanence is just on the dust seals at the K-Sports dont have them, not alot of effort for an excellent brake setup .

Ive sold quite a few sets and heard nothing but delighted results from them.

wat does it entail maintainin the dust seals ? never had experienced them.

Don't quote me on this because I am no expert but I have heard that too big a brake setup can cause problems If you have ABS. If you want wilwoods you should contact 'riko666' I think he can get a direct bolt-on kit with a 280mm disc.

Yea i do have abs? is it worth removing too fit a set of willwoods?

The wilwoods won't cause a problem, but the K-sports (being a 6-pot) might. Having said that, I have no experience of it, im only going by what I have heard. It would be worth doing a little research if you intend getting the K-sports. But i would just get the wilwoods if it were me, they are EXCELLENT

its leaning very far toward the willwoods lol
