same for the rolla ecu weeJohn
You should be able to use most of the origonal wiring in the corolla loom for the starting and charging circuits, you might only need to swap plugs over to suit.
All the other sensor wires you will need for the fte engine come from the big plug in the photos above, thats what you need to splice in.
I dont know about the corolla ecu, but if you open the fte ecu, the pins are labelled inside. You will probably need to splice the instrument cluster warning lights and other wires into the fte loom. Leave all the other wiring as is.
Once you start its not that difficult. Label each wire either side before you cut it and you wont loose track of where you have been.

Hi,hey sagittariusman, whats the "pcb" you're on about, opened up the old 'rolla ECU I have and theres nothing labelled inside...
I do have some 4e-fe pinouts but they're not all the same. it's best to have a look at your pcb again.hey do you know any site where they have the ECU pinouts for the corolla 1995 4e-fe engine???personally havent had any luck since...
No problem but then I need to know the pinout of your 4e-fe tooor if theres cash coming your way, could you make me an adapter loom ;-)
nope not neccessary.and do I need to use the glanza fusebox, as my corolla doesn't have 2 things-the "st coil" (so its badged on top of the fusebox) and the "EFI Pitcher" (also as on fusebox cover)

And you will have to cover the postage costs as I live in the netherlands
nope not neccessary.
If you want I can also adapt your rolla loom to the 4e-fte loom.
In that case I will need both ecu's and both looms to match eachother. The result would be something similar to what I've posted before (pics).
Saggi,
Just on the topic of being inside the ECU.. Have you ever opened an auto ECU and compared it with a manual?
1. ok, wil have a look at the "PCB" again and post you a pic
2. pinout???26pin and 16pin, if thats what you mean??
no probs as to postage ;-)
3. adapting the loom sounds good, although I have the 2 looms and have slightly started on the cutting...and have little bit of extra wiring for thr HKS Programmable Fuel Control....
do you need just the looms(engine loom, going from interior loom to fusebox only) and ECU's...?
3) how bad is the damage?
repairing the loom is not a problem but keep in mind I do not make looms free of charge.
My asking price for a complete working loom is 25gbp per hour work with a maximum of 10 hours. Every hour more spent is my problem lol.
Also you have to pay for shipping the looms to me, and back from me to you.
- all wires that are soldered are protected with heatshrink.
- the solder used is high quality solder...not that cray you can buy at the D.I.Y. shop.
- loom will be taped and wrapped with that plastic ribbon stuff.
let me know what you think
yes, i know that no-one does anything out of the goodness of their hearts these days lol
the "damage isn't bad, I know exactly what goes where, so can put it back to the way it was before for you ;-)
If you want I'll send some solder (with high part flux) to you too, and some black insulation tape....?
nah that's not neccessary... I've got loads of that stuff lol
yes I have even the manual glanza ecus have "auto" markings inside them like L, 1, 2, etc.
I have all ecus here (3 types manual, 2 types auto for GT and auto+manual for glanza)

It's an old post but maybe someone can help. I have a 1998 Corolla E11 with a 4efe and I need to swap to a ep 91 4efte with AC. I am looking for a complete diagram with pictures of the connectors for the ECU loom connectors and for the fuse box loom connectors. I don't know how to merge them I think that the 4efte will need its loom and the extra loose connectors on the Corolla will need to be added later. I really need help to avoid mistakes. The ECU loom line from the Starlet ep91 is different than the Corolla E11 4efe. The distances under the hood are different. The ECU loom around the engine is easy besides a few connectors I don't recognize. I am worried about the Starlet fuse box loom with its connections to the engine. Is it going to be long as the Corolla loom and be easy to connect around the car? Who knows I found a ep82 connectors diagram with pictures form @alanmears. I'd need confirmation it works for the ep91 and I would need to find it for the Corolla. Hope you can help!no need to put in everything from the starlet into your corolla.
just merge yourstarlet engine loom with the corolla loom. easy as that.
this way you do not have to match any interior plugs etc.
