im not going into discussion about the pic of the guy falling!
i believe it shows what horror those ppl suffered up there in that tower. And it was published in a national newspaper, so posting in a thread isnt exactly a crime that picture is all over the world and is classed as one of the most moving pictures of all time. No matter what your opinion is about you stil must feel the sorrow of what ppl went through when you look at that photograph.
what i was asking to happen was quite simple, i wanted the banter to stop and ppl to just pay their respects and not discuss who was actually behind the whole thing and how wrong it is where the armed forces are. It will be sad if this thread has to be locked , so please stop dragging it out.

Its a great shame what happened. My heart honestly does go out to all those that lost family/friends in any terrorist sttrocities be them home or away.

meh, this is quite far off track, i think people here should know better (i'm not having a dig Hutch, to be honest, i can't see where the problem lies with what you've said) I think if anyone should be given a row by a moderator, its plain to see who sparked this side of the arguement, anyhoo, just a matter of time until we see some of this :

i was in college and didnt really understand as it was like hearing through chinese whispers the story got all mixed up, only fully understood when i got home at tea time and watched the news.

I'm sorry Kelly but this is really getting to me now. People are only allowed to voice generic "ooh such a shame" replys? I have enough gagging orders in the forces what happened to free speach? I certainly never thought I'd be told what I could and could not say on an open forum such as this.

i just got home from school when i was 11 or 12 and remember seeing it on skysports news and thought to myself wow this must of been a while ago ( i thought it was when that other attack had happened before.
it was all quiet confusing but then all off a sudden it showed the second plane flying into the building and i was just stunned seeing all that smoke and people running for there lives. crazy s***

I slept through the whole thing! I was on nights so I didn't get up till late afternoon, went to the mess for tea and got told someone had flown a plane into the world trade centre.

I came home from school and flicked through all channels (1-5) and just saw planes and towers and was like wtf? Then I went through all the channels again and News was on every channel and thats when my mum told what had happened. Then they explained what happened the next day in school in an assembly, man 6 years already I can't believe it. I've just walked in from college and 6 years ago I walked in from Junior School round about this time, time goes too fast!
