you think £140 a month is putting someone in a new house with a new car and a glamorous lifestyle?? good god.

Lets stop immigration and throw out all the foreign workers and who is going to do the jobs??

Despite what you may think a huge amount of foreigners actually work and wheather you like it or not that keeps the cogs of your country and most others turning.

Simple FACT is that without foreign workers coming to developed countries the countries do not have the manpower and skillsets required to grow their economy.

Once again it is SO easy to look at all of the issues your country has and blame it on the people who are coming there. Get all the able bodied off the dole queues... I bet they are not cheap to maintain.

I'm on the dole? I get £92 pounds per week Job seekers + Housing benefit, and my rent is £80 per week. I'm hardly living a good lifestyle. Infact, i have exactly £0 at the minute, and im sat here freezing my arse off because i have no gas to keep warm.

Sorry to be a nusiance.

Why dont you look for a job then? There are loads of jobs out there if you are prepared to work.

Ive no problem with anyone being out of work, it can happen to anyone. My point is that people who can work but choose not to and sit at home are a much greater burden on the state than immigrants who want to come and work.

If you are not sick or impaired in some way I dont know how people cannot have a job. Even if it means leaving your home or country to go find it Id rather do that then sit at home and say "I cant find a job". I couldnt not work.

I agree 100%, the reason most of the foreign workers are here is because people in this country dont want to work in shops etc when the foreigh people are more than happy to, and without them we would be bo**oxed.

I have no problem with foreign people living and working legally in this country, its the ones which dont work and abuse the system that get me.

Its not always that easy Dave. When my wife left the RAF (before we was married) she was put in some poxy council flat in a block full of scum bags and smackheads. She couldn't get a job for months and it wasn't thru lack of trying. Not having a car to travel to work deffo doesn't help, but you can't have the money to run/maintain a car unless you're earning. Its a catch 22 situation.

Oh yea, i love it. Im suprised everyone doesnt do it. I mean, going to the fridge to find its absolutly empty, as in- nothing at all, its such a great feeling not eating for a few days. And being cold? Thats fun too, I can see how long my cold lasts this time. No electric, Who needs light when its dark?

Agreed I find it hard that someone can say there is no work out there... I lost my job at the start of the year and found work with in two weeks of looking signing on never even crossed my mind.

gv 1.3 is rioght on the ball with this, we need immigration to sustain the economy. Uneployment is at an all time low, so they are not "stealing british job" the fact is it is near on impossible to get any great deal below 5% unemployment as people move within jobs and some jsut cannot be bothered.

p2d, there must be something out there? even if you hate it, suck it up for a while until you find something.

i for one out of principle wouldnt sign on, and my mum wouldnt allow me to either, even though i would be entitled to.

also how can "illegal immigrants" claim dole or the likes if they arent allowed to register at any address or with any govt agency???
