That's one thing I have noticed over the years, these boxes in the GT do really hold up well dispite what some users throw at it.
The gearboxes in GT's (C52) are also used in higher powered cars too, such as the MR2 (AW11). Glanza gearboxes were also used in Celica's too. It's not so surprising they're so tough. It's the duschbags that don't treat gearboxes with respect that break them.
To add another perspective, i see most of the UK is mainly concerned with finding out the power an engine can produce at the flywheel. Downunder, most power figures are quoted in HP or KW that's produced at the wheels.
I just guess we're a little behind! How inaccurate are power figures at the wheels from dyno to dyno?
Oh, yeah. Forget to mention, insane power figures mate! Hope you've got someone very skilled to drive the car, thats alot of hard work that can be ruined very easily, very quickly.
