The "standard" spring rate for the MeisterR Zeta-R is Front: 5.0kg/mm, Rear: 4.0kg/mm.
The Zeta-R are designed for fast country road usage with enough adjustment for occasional track days usage.
From the testing and customer feedback, this specification will be compliant for fast road usage with great response.
The Zeta-R are firstly designed for fast road that are uneven and bumpy, but there are enough adjustment in the damper for track days. The reason for this is because most of us drive on the road, and do track days maybe 3-5 times a year if we are lucky. If you are going on a track day and want stiffer suspension, you can increase the damping of the damper to limit body roll. That is why the dampers have 32 damping adjustment as you can increase the damping (Compression and Rebound combined) to take advantage of the flat track surface on track day. If you want to stiffen it further, you can pre-load the springs.
As for "Ultimate" handling against Cusco, it depends on alot of things. Up to a certain degree, the Cusco will be better on the track because it was designed as a "Track" coilovers. However, what we find is that most customers actually get a better track time with slightly softer suspension setup because it help control the "slip angle" of the tyres by not overloading it too fast. Most of the customers use normal road tyres for track days, but if you are using Toyo R888 Semi Slick, then harder suspension will take advantage of the extra grip. You have to remember that suspension is only part of a car's setting, there are alot of other factors that are involved.
One major advantage of coilovers over springs/shock combo is the use of linear rate springs. Linear rate springs ensure weight transfer smoothly from one side of the car to the other, and therefore making weight transfer more predictable. This give a driver greater confidence to utilize the weight transfer of the car as you know the weight won't shift unexpectedly.
MeisterR Zeta-R will come with 1 year warranty, and we work on "replace" rather than "rebuild". New dampers will be around £80 after warranty, so you can replace all 4 damper on the car for £320. All warranty are also carried in the UK, and stock will be held in the UK. Therefore you won't have to wait months for things to get rebuild. I aim to provide all warranty service done within a week.
