To begin with, those who knock autos, like I used to, dont have much experience driving them. Once you get used to them and get a well designed gearbox they can be great fun to drive
The wheels dont suit that car at all and ruin what would otherwise be a great looking car. Unless you can find invisible paint I dont think painting them is going to fix anything. A set of stock supra wheels would look much better imo.
N/A power from a supra is not blistering dude. You said that it was up at 100mph and you didnt even notice. The chrysler 300 I am driving at the moment does that, pretty much any machine with a big engine will give the same effect but the 300 is a boring heap of shite to drive, nice for motorway cruising though.
Ultimately your supra is better than my supra (I dont have one....yet) so enjoy it. But its like over here people buy the challenger with the v6 and for the whole time they have the car people will say "has it got the v8?" and then look on in a disappointed way when they hear it doesnt.
Best of luck with your new car, you own a piece of automotive history.
PS: stick to facts, a N/A supra is not going to wipe the floor with an EP that has the boost turned up a little. Parts for modifying the supra are not dirt cheap compared to those to modify a starlet. A 3ltr supra is not going to be very light on fuel.
