yah this is the one

only thing is that we lengthen it a bit. its good for torque. not so god for hp. the stock one makes more hp but this car is a road car so low down torque is preffered by me than high horse power. if it was a straight drag car then i would opt for a different manifold

nice to see these manifolds getting tested on a turbo build

mate seriously come on. ive heard some quotes from you and hardcore-ep now both basically slating every1 else but you lot in jamaica. give it a rest and chill man.

i am also really interested in this thread. i love to see these crazy builds they r ace to see. very best of luck with the cars u have and are building.

trust me tho even if we are behind you in terms of HP achievements on a stock engine, there are some awesome starlets over this side of the pool too. shame u cant get any of your stock engined high power builds over here would make a great meet/raceday etc.

dont you think we are tired about the bullsh*t we get from some of the members of this site? why cant we stick it back to the nay sayers?

main reason for the negative reaction was always the lack of detail you guys give. youre the first guy over your way to post up all your mods and other details, so respect for that. usually when guys over here ask about what you guys are running its a secret(theres also one knob over our way behaves like this).

would ngk 8s not be better for the power your running instead of ngk 7 spark plugs?

i just use what my mechanic uses.

he has used all combinations so the trial and error stage has been done by him years ago. makes no sence to change what has been proven to work i guess

the starlet scene is very big in jamaica and there are alot of jamaican tuners on this site believe it or not. so i guess the trade secrets have kept on the downlow so as to preserve the busines of their garage. so that probably why u dont get parts lists. i for one dont give a damn. the formulas have basically been figured out

swiftly back on topic.
any news on the original build thread?
The owner migrated to Canada and sold the car. No more project. Thanks to blackchiney for his addition. He's a friend and I know the car. We talk often and know all the persons involved in the project.

100% legit.

He actually isn't. My Friend Dwayne was the first person I know to hit 300whp and he had put up everything INCLUDING his eManage file. People STILL complained. And I remember when I got my CT9 figures, I put up dynosheets because no-one believed a CT9 could make 145whp back then.

how many inches did you add to lengthen it up?

hi i get my pistons from toyota and they always get me size 2 pistons but my block has 3 size 2 and 1 size 3 do you see a problem with that?

Just tell them to get you the right size and stop messing about. Having said that, the 3 different sizes do overlap each other in size, as do the bores. The stock piston skirt to bore clearance is 0.09-0.11mm, the wear limit is 0.13mm Although it is preferable to use the right size piston, provided the gap is within those limits I see no reason why you can't use a different size. People on here have done that without any problems, but check the gaps! Very simple to do with a feeler gauge in the bore, put the piston in and it should stop at the skirt. Start with 0.09mm and work your way up. I'm doing the same thing at the moment, shows I've got a 0.1mm gap between a size 2 piston and size 3 bore, which is bang in the middle of the tolerance..
