nah the EGT sensor has 2 wires so im thinking the ECU gets something off it. Since getting the car back together it has been detonating when coming on boost. I thought it was the coolant temp sensor, but its tested fine. So then i went onto the EGT and found the the plug wasnt connecting...

But don't i need it connected to make the car run right?? It doesn't seem to have an o2 sensor so I think it's relying on water temp and egt?

Ok, so after putting an ep71 back together (I got it in parts) I cant get it to run right. To get the idle down and to make it run, I've had to screw the idle screw in all the way and fully retard the timing and it's still idling around 1000rpm! I set the cam up with the 2e hole on the cam gear...

nah unfortunately not. its only one of the Drift series gauges. Scored it cheap. Hopefully it will be enough to warn me before it all goes Kabooomm!! lol

Hey guys, Just bought an A/F meter gauge, got it mostly installed but cant find any info on where the wire is comin off the ECU to connect it to? Any of ya's know ? Or i'll just have to connect it to the o2 sensor i guess.

Does anyone have any info on how to set the stock cam on my 2E-TELU ? ? I put the crank at TDC on #1 and fitted the cam gear to the cam. On the cam gear it has 2E and 1E positions on it, with a little hole through it, which i am guessing is so you can line it up with the dot on the head...
