I've checked the spark plugs(NGK R BKR6EY) they were tan in colour around the tip and they had some oil residue around threads, cleaned them with sand paper put them back and now the car doesn't bogs down at higher revs, its back to normal. im worrying about the oil residue around the threads...

I've changed the plug wires, now there is no missing at idle, accelerates good through all gears but one thing i've notice that it is bogging down after 6k rpms, its happening in all gears, and sometimes it misfire/backfire too, its a stock engine and fpr is set at 3.2bar,(running it a bit rich)...

There was a major missing in car today, checked it that was a faulty spark plug wire, now i can't find stock plug wires here, even im planning to get a td04 with all supporting mods so want to know what type of ignition leads i need ? 8mm ? which spark plugs will fit in 4efte ?

Both engines are running strong as they were running from day one after a rebuild,

I have 2 4efte engines. 1st 4efte compression results: Cylinder no.1 = 150 Cylinder no. 2 = 150 Cylinder no. 3 = 145 Cylinder no. 4 = 150 2nd 4efte compression results: Cylinder no.1 = 138 Cylinder no.2 = 140 Cylinder no. 3 = 140 Cylinder no. 4 = 160 are these results satisfactory ?

yes the fpr has a vacuum pipe connected to intake manifold.

Changed the fuel pump now the fpr is working fine, that was a faulty fuel pump, now replaced with a walbro 255lph, just curious to know what should be the standard/normal fuel pressure for a 4efte ? i don't have a wideband with me, so just want to make it a bit rich, is 3.5 bar is okay ?

I have a Tomei Fuel pressure regulator, on cold start gauge shows 2.5 bar when the car gets warmer it drops to around 2.0 bar, im planning to raise boost to 0.8 bar, so today i tried to raise the fuel pressure but its not rising its sticking to 2.5 bar, it is able to decrease pressure to 2.0 bar...

i've found a walbro fuel pump that's GRJ285, can't find any info about this fuel pump, it would be helpful if i could know how much LPH is this. walbro gss340,341 & 342 are 255lph but this GRJ285 is unknown pump!

it was a broken piston no. 1, after rebuild today i started for first time after rebuild and now gas/air blows from the breather but there is no smoke as before with a broken piston, is this normal ?
