i brought a set of areo wiper on ebay and alas they dont fucking fit... am i missing something? it appears my wipers are a screw on version? how do i make them fit?

Ive got a set of 14 inch lightweight steel wheels... im thinking of putting a set of pirelli 185/60/14 on there... as mine r 205/70(poss 65)/14 on mine i think! going round corners it keeps giving way, and it seems to be going onto the tyre wall would the 185/60/14 handle better...
