I just read his trap speed, there's no way 175bhp in a 1000kg car will get you to 104 mph. He's either lying through his teeth about the ET or he's actually running a lot more power than he thinks he is...
mybe put up specs like its a 5e engine running a ct9?????????:haha:
13.5 with 175bhp is believable.. Finx ran a 13.7 on a CT9 at standard boost, would have been under a mid 13 with a better track surface.
What does a punto weigh?
Good tires on a hot day and I'd believe it without any convincing.
are you having a laugh? ct9 standard boost?
from what i have been told ted, you shift like a 85 year old nanny:haha::haha:
but yeah i just cant get my head around some number that are put out there, i just laugh now and try and put myself against over cars at the same track
whatever you say mate, must be stripped down to 400kg or something.
go to america or jamica and you'll run a 8 sec easy mate:haha:
Have you got any more details on your run Ted?
Of particular interest is your 60' time and trap speed, with 4wd and an aggressive launch you should be seeing something under 2.0 and with 200bhp should be running mid 13's.
I've seen a well launched 4wd EP95 get down to a 1.6 60', with that sort of time you could potentially be into the low 13's at your current power levels.
Billybob, it's not black magic. There is a science and some basic maths to a 1/4 mile run that you're obviously not aware of. For a given weight and trapspeed you can work out power and vice versa. For a 0.1s saving on the 60' you can realise 0.2 or 0.3 off your ET.
Maybe it's just that you guys can't drive to save yourselves?
Oh and billybob in the uk an 14.1 run was done on a stock ct9 on 4e before.i dont see why a 5e on stock ct9 cant do a 13.7 run.
It wont be possible rumel as billybob hasnt done it.
