9500RPM, thats a very high limit, you wana watch out as the stock B18 engine/with stock compression Doesnt like much higher then 8800RPM, stock B16B is unsafe after 9100RPM..... As its same block just thicker walls on the B16B........ Unless of course your engine isnt standard?

A built up B18 can take 10,000RPM :rockon:

Cool cheers ill have a look there in the morning, yeah its in or around there i dont take it that high often usually change gear before the limiter, just a couple times when its been wet out ive seen it go up that high,wheel spin. As far as im aware the engine is standard.

Just to say though, i dont think its astonishingly quick lol, But to drive it, around bends/straights/motorway it is a very quick car... It puts most cars on the road to shame, believe it or not. But straight line performance isnt all its about, its a good car.

PS, ive taken a couple more videos/a bit clearer and upright lol, i'll get em up tommorow. As that other video is dodgy really! lol

its quite fast i tried that in my gfriends hyundai coupe 2ltr and where yours go to 60 miles in 7secs (from the vid) hers take 11secs and it runs 15.5 secs 1/4 mile

no sheldon its must be that im a really good driver as the other coupe were doing 16.1 secs - 16.3 when i did the 15.5 and it had the clutch slipping altough thats standard on all coupe:p

i can hit 60 in under 6 seconds, trust me ;) With the right pull off its really good....

ohhh right, rolling in 2nd gear........ i see, sorry.......

Yeah thats my biggest point, people think its gutless lower down when in fact is actually pretty dam quick lower down....... Response is great etc..... definietly quicker then my mums cooper S before my vtec has even kicked in and that has a supercharger!!

Then again my car has got a few mods to free up the drive soo............


Saying all this, im concentrating on bringing the starlet back before i build this now... Cant wait! 450BHP here i come :p

yeah thats very quick for 2nd gear! the coupe pulls well from low down but dont have the help of the vtec upto 7,200 rpm and the weight kills it a bit too! but u wount find many cars to do 0-60mph in 7secs on 2 gear!
