i think different power setups/boost will see you different speeds on each gear , not just wheel size , someone correct me if im wrong
There are a few things that will affect the maximum speed achieved in 1st, 2nd, 3rd and 4th gear...

Rev limit
Gear ratio (Including final drive)
Wheel/tyre size

Any stock 5 speed car should be able to hit the limiter in 4th. Power has all four corners of fuck all to do with it until you get into 5th, and then you need to take into account aerodynamics. As someone said already, increasing the power would only reduce the time it takes to get to a given speed. The only way to increase the maximum speed achievable in 1st-4th would be to change one or more of the above.

lol yeh i see what u mean ,
that means increase the rev limit , change the 15' rims ,
those are the doable ones :)
cutting the time to reach the same speed sounds good too , qtm !

Yep seem right mate tyres and gearbox is the main key. Torque and power also is important to run those 16 inch wheels.feedback from anyone running 16 inch tyres with 6 speed corolla Gbox will be interesting. Thanks

What difference does it matter what power you are running lol, the same gearbox will make the same speed in each gear!

Your speedo's will all be different/wrong, only way of exact speed is GPS

mine 160Km/h 7000 rev IHI subaru turbo running .7bar . I have tong GT spec Turbo same 160 Km/h on 3rd 1bar boost. Depends on manifold mate. equal length will give you more power and fast REV.

true my tong turbo 1 bar =160km/h[7000 rpm] on 3rd gear:p

0.6 bar...normal CT9 [almost]...160 on the dot in 3rd gear.
Boost pressure has nothing to do with km/hr achieved.....its only how quick you reach there....
