4wd ep91- how would you go about it?

I attempted to do a 4wd conversion on my micra, so maybe the principle is the same.

The floor was removed from the donor car so the propshaft, brakes, fuel line, handbrake, linkages and everything else all lined up for the rear axle. Some modifications were made to the front of the car to allow the prop to go through. This then would have been welded on to the Micra and attached up to the new engine & gearbox.

The only real issues with doing this is that the floor would have to be welded on perfectly straight, as any angle would result in the wheels facing slighty the wrong direction! The welding has to be perfect too, otherwise you're going to fall out the floor flinstone style!

this page pretty much sums it up!
