A little oil coming out of breather on rocker cover.

strange thing is mine is doing this. but very slightly u can c it under the bonnet. but saying that i did slightly overfill my oil if this would cause anything?

Can i ask a question while we are on the subject?

If one were to over fill the car with oil, is it possible for the unwanted/extra oil to escape out of the catch can/breather?

Depends how much over we are talking.

I know some people who do trackdays without baffled sumps overfill slightly to counteract starvation.. whether this works or not I dont know.
With too much oil the engine wont be able to breath right, also if its that high and up to the crankshaft, wont the oil pressure just drop massively?
The crankshaft spinning could push it out the breather though i guess.

Maybe im just talking bollocks though, just typing what im thinking :haha:

since fitting my hybrid turbo, running at about 0.8bar i get a little oil out the rocker cover breather & on to the underside of the bonnet is this normal?
