I'm with Jay, I like the cold as much as I like the heat. As much as you have a beef with it, imagine living in Denmark, Finland, Sweden, Norway etc... Mind you, then we'd all know how to drive in these conditions, and know what real cold weather is...

Until the weather has warmed up, the starlet won't see the road, but even tucked away on the drive it's causing me grief, it's letting water in somehow which means a nice icey lake in the drivers footwell, all windows frozen inside and out, and icicles hanging from the roof lining 
got a waterproof car cover on order, will dry it all out and tape the doors shut, hopefully it'll keep until the weather warms up.
in the meantime it'll run out of T&T too, and i've just re-insured it, sigh....

well my rant is....
This is awesome been out sideways on the handbreak everywhere already having loads of fun.
No problems with rust as mines waxoiled everywhere no problems with break calipers seizing and no problems with batterys or anything else for that matter.
All in all this is fucking mint and im loving it

waxoil isnt an impenetrable shield, you will get rust behind it from this harcore rock salt stuff, its nasty. it easts through concrete and asphalt so im sure a bit of waxoil wont stop it.
and surely you have loads of potholes round your way? even roads less than a year old are falling apart round my way!

cant say theres loads of them, theres a few round here but jus before xmas they did loads of them round here. theres one down the bottom of my road which i just drive round apart from that there isnt really any on the roads i use regularly

I used to love the cold weather but now it just makes my pains worse.It's too cold in the garage even with the heating on so i'm stuck in the house and i've a project sitting with nothing being done.I'm just itching to get at it.
Surely some parts could fit in the kitchen?
