air filter relocation, whats the best method and filter?

EP82, does that really work that well? has loads of hot air going onto it, especially when the rad ran kicks off

Never really thought of it like that, will probably be moved whan the TD04 goes on, just though it was a better position than the back of the engine bay and didnt cost anything to move.

thats how i've got mine, and i'm not sure on any gains yet, when i first put it on i checked it and the filter seemed maybe abit hot, but last week or so it has seemed pretty decent temperate
boost creep seems to be a little less, also, the filter may have the fan blowing on it, but at same time, with the original pipe, was in exactly the same place, plus being longer it would get more heat soak, surely?

i cant see it being any different to be honest. if its in the engine bay its just no good. stick with panel filter in the stock airbox.

i put the filter behind the left head lamp.. and i use a billion air ram in my foglamp with viber pipe to create cold air intake

i post the picture later on

You need to remove the Air Con radiator, other wise you will need to get creative
